Olexa’s Cafe in Mountain Brook Village serves a wonderful lunch including grilled sandwiches, soups, quiche, and salads with decadent desserts Monday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
Diane Olexa has been in business for 14 years specializing in catering and bridal cakes and expanded in 2004 opening a cafe where she serves her warm buttercreme cakes daily. 
People "come for cake but stay for lunch" she has been told. Her wedding cakes won the Grand Prize for Best in Taste, Creativity and Presentation in the 2006 Wedding Cake Competition in Birmingham, Alabama. So, you know it tastes as good as it looks… maybe better!
Her cafe is also a great venue for bridal luncheons, rehearsal dinners and private and corporate gatherings in the evening.
Olexa’s will also cater to all kinds of events formal or informal does not matter. If need be she "can do as much or as little as needed – including delivery, set up, and table decorations to restocking, serving, and clean up."
